Presentation Skills Workshop | Print |

This is a full or half day workshop to encourage individuals to step beyond their perceived limitations.

The workshop will focus on presentation skills using acting-based exercises to encourage vocal and physical strength and flexibility. We use techniques taught at RADA and developed over our working practice to improve posture, breathing, vocal projection and articulation.

Filming and feedback on a brief presentation is the core of our process. We ensure individual time is given to each participant, focusing on their specific needs to maximize their potential. We also work with texts including Shakespeare as a means to unlock the power and clarity of language.

Participants will leave with increased confidence and enjoyment in their public speaking.

Leading Through Stress and Anxiety Workshop

This workshop explores the causes and consequences of stress in the workplace, in particular the impact of chronic, psychological stress on health, wellbeing and performance.

Occupational psychologist Rob Archer will lead the workshop, supported by Emma and Anna. Participants will learn cognitive behavioural skills, helping them to recover quickly from setbacks and perform effectively under pressure.

After an interactive forum there will be a short warm-up incorporating the Alexander Technique, breathing and vocal exercises taught at RADA.

Role-plays will be created with the actors, to animate individuals’ real life experiences of stress. Rob the psychologist will direct the action, providing tactics to help implement changes in behaviour.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have one-to-one feedback with Rob, Anna or Emma who will provide expert advice on improving wellbeing and performance.

Participants will leave with increased resilience and an ability to manage stress both in and out of the work place.
